USS SPOKANE REUNION 2004 |
![]() |
|---|
| NOTICE: The Reunion planned below has been canceled, effective August 3rd, 2004. The organizers could get only twenty people to attend and that was not sufficient for the prices quoted. They may have been able to pull it off with thirty with a few changes but that was the best they could do. It's too bad because it was probably the last chance for the Spokane crew to get together. Pat and Ted Delozier will not plan another reunion and I don't know if anyone else will either. I guess age is the main factor. We are all in mid to late seventies and into the eighties. Those of us who are ambulatory and still possess some semblance of mental awareness are the lucky ones. Many have passed on. Many just can't make it and many, I presume, have no desire to get together. Sad! We hope that some of us keep in touch as long as we're able and maybe even get together on a smaller scale (one on one at least). So Dear Retirees, carry on, keep the faith and have a good life, (what's left of it). Bob Fulkerson |
